The_Ascension is the title of the forthcoming studio album by OTEP. Originally set for a March 20, 2007 release through Capitol Records, the album has been delayed indefinently due to the recent Captiol/Virgin Records merger.[2][3][4] The band's status with Capitol Records is unknown, as they have stated that "the album will be released as soon as corporately possible."[5]
