The Appalachian

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Appalachian is the centerpiece hotel/condominium property being built by Mountain Creek for their master planned village. The Village will feature shops, restaurants, ski-in / ski-out hotel-style condos and underground parking. When completed, the Village at Mountain Creek will have up to 1,000 resort homes on land along both sides of Route 94.

The construction of the Appalachian commenced on December 12, 2003.

Mountain Creek is a ski resort and water park, owned by the Canadian company Intrawest, located in Vernon, New Jersey. Vernon is in Northern New Jersery on the border of New York in Sussex County about 1 hour from New York City.

The Appalachian's units have been completely sold out and usually really fast as within 24 hours of their release. The condo units are not full time residences.

The Appalachian is located at the Vernon base of Mountain Creek at the end of a ski slope and near many chairlifts.
