The Amsterdam Dungeon

The Amsterdam Dungeon follows a similar format to the London Dungeon, York Dungeon, Edinburgh Dungeon and Hamburg Dungeon which are owned and operated by the UK based Merlin Entertainments corporation and attempts to show history through an interactive adventure. Live actors, a ride, shows and special effects simulate historical dark and bleak times.

The Amsterdam Dungeon is a unique combination of a museum, theatre and an attraction park. True facts from Amsterdam’s history are the main scene in this attraction. Actors will bring the history to life and this experience will be complimented by the many special effects, a ride and the labyrinth of lost Amsterdam. Living in fear of the plague, the VOC, The Spanish inquisition and the dark streets of Amsterdam come to life.
The Amsterdam Dungeon is easy accessible by public transport.
