"The Actor" is the thirty-ninth episode of The Golden Girls.
[edit] Plot Outline
Each of the girls are planning to land a part in a community play. When Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose find out that famous actor Patrick Vaughn has been given the lead male part, they all vie for the lead female role, and possibly girlfriend to the famous star. Meanwhile, Sophia gets a job at Captain Jack's Seafood Shanty.
