[edit] About

[edit] The 80's

The first half of the single "The 80's" is about Robbie's life growing up in Stoke, the dark-side of his relationship with his mother, apposed to the Life Thru A Lens tracks Angels and One of God's Better People, his learning dificulties at school and his first sexual encounter, as well as other tales of Robbie's upbringing.

[edit] The 90's

The second half of the release "The 90's" mainly concerns Robbie's time with boyband Take That and his subsuquent rise to fame, his failing academically at school, his drug habit and late night partying and his departure from Take That.

The 90's also caused controversey when Robbie's ex-Take That manager Nigel Martin-Smith threatened to sue Robbie over lyrics possibly referring to him ripping off Robbie from a European tour.

[edit] Release

The song's release date is currently unsupported, however it could be released three months after She's Madonna, the regular industry wait in between singles. But this could possibly change and be up to six months after Robbie's stint in rehab, promotion for the single release and an accompanying video.
