The 7:30 Report is an Australian nightly television current affairs programme, produced by and broadcast on the ABC Monday to Thursday at 7:30 PM. (The sister programme Stateline, produced locally in each state, is broadcast in this timeslot on Fridays.) It has been hosted since 1995 by prominent Australian journalist Kerry O'Brien, previously host of Lateline.

The programme is usually composed of several articles and live interviews, focussing on issues of national or global significance. Politicians from both sides frequently appear in interviews with O'Brien to discuss current events and to articulate their own strategies and thoughts.

Previous presenters include Trisha Goddard, Sarah Henderson, Mary Delahunty, Genevieve Hussey, Andrew Olle and Quentin Dempster. The program was state-based until the end of 1994, after which Kerry O'Brien took over on a national program. Maxine McKew was the main relief presenter, but retired in 2006. She has been replaced by Ali Moore as the main relief presenter.

Current reporters include Ros Childs, Heather Ewart, Michael Brissenden, Mark Bannerman, Jonathan Harley and Emma Alberici.

Since 1997, satirists John Clarke and Bryan Dawe have a presented a (usually) weekly mock interview covering a topical issue. Dawe is the interviewer, while Clarke plays a prominent public figure, but unusually for satire, he deliberately makes no attempt to imitate the appearance, voice or mannerisms of the person he portrays. These interviews are a continuation of the pair's work for A Current Affair, beginning in 1989, and they have won awards for their collaborations.
