[edit] Sufficiently notable?

Could someone please verify how and that this band meet WP:MUSIC ? Because it looks a bit of a candidate for deletion as it stands. Marcus22 16:46, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

they're on Kill Rock Stars, a notable label featuring such artists as Deerhoof, they've toured Canada and the US, they've been reviewed by pitchfork media. I'm by no means an expert on the band; a real fan could probably find more evidence of notability. JonnyChance 06:32, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Hmmm... not overly convinced. I'm no expert on what criteria are needed for inclusion. I dont know if being on a noted label etc.. (if such they are) is sufficient grounds. Dont they have to have a famous member and/or charted albums and/or a 'major' national tour? I'll try and find someone who knows Wiki music better than I do and get their opinion.
