The article says the husband had "apparently been working late", but there isn't anything in the lyrics to suggest that. To the contrary, they seems as if the husband hadn't provided an alibi; the wife is standing worriedly by the telephone, already suspicious, and "hoping it's the weather that's kept him out all night". I'm going to take the reference to him working late out. Kravitch 22:07, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
