Talk:The Student Union at the Royal Institute of Technology
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'd like to dispute the new name of this article. The English translation of Tekniska Högskolans Studentkår is in fact The Student Union at the Royal Institute of Technology and nothing else, as (perhaps implicitly) decided by the Student Union Board. The original name of the university is, in this matter, irrelevant in my opinion. If no one disagrees with me I will change the title back again in a week or so.
I'm also a bit unsure of the meaning of the second sentence "While the school carries the epithet of being a royal institution, the students' union is a separate entity and specifically disallowed such practice". What practice are we talking about here exactly? --Albin
