[edit] Breakthrough album

The entry for Piano Man says:

Piano Man, Joel's second album and his first with Columbia Records, emerged out of legal difficulties with his former label and became his breakthrough album.

The entry for The Stranger says:

While his four previous albums were moderately successful, this was his breakthrough album, peaking at #2 on the U.S. album charts.

I think there should be some agreement on which of these albums was his "breakthrough" album. Dsreyn 14:09, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Based on Joel's lack of success after Piano Man, I would say his breakthrough album was the Stranger, based on the hits and sales. Hurricanehink 20:26, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
