[edit] VHS Tape Release

I, loving this movie as a kid and concerned about the edits on the DVD release, just bought a VHS copy of it off of eBay. I'm not sure when this tape was released — it's the "Walt Disney Mini Classics" release — but at least one of the edits mentioned as edits on the DVD, possibly all three of them, are present on this VHS copy. The lyric change in the merchant song is here. There is no full "Small One for Sale" song; just a few lines of it interspersed with the merchants' singing; I don't remember the original well enough to say whether it's been edited or not. And the star at the end did still look an awful lot like a cross, but it's possible it's been "toned down", too. Did these edits occur earlier than we realized, or did I just get a bum deal on this tape? Does anyone have the DVD? —LonelyPilgrim 22:08, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
