Without any further explanation, the list of related books seems rather arbitrary. Burschik 15:46, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

You're right. I ought to add a paragraph explaining that the books either inspired or are referenced in The Scar. Goblin 03:22, Aug 18, 2004 (UTC)
I'm currently reading this book and a funny story about this - I was lent The Scar by a friend and at the same time I lent her Snow Crash. I looked this up a while ago and found it funny that this site considers the two related. I can tell you why one would consider the two related - Snow Crash featured a giant floating 'Raft' composed of hundreds of ships lashed together into a floating city, now this was just a plot device never actually fully explored. The Scar is about several people living on a floating city also composed of hundreds of ships lashed together. 72.57.10.124 05:38, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
