[edit] That's Underground
I think the section for the "That's Underground" skits should be changed to "That's Pretty Underground". If I recall they almost always say it using "pretty". U R A GR8 M8 22:44, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Consolidated
Consolidated the info on Jesus and H5AMD into the section on controversial skits. Rozen 1:22, 6 March 2006
Added another common skit, Rastas. Looks decent. Domza 11:46, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I cleaned things up a bit and expanded the bit on recurring characters into full bio sections. The whole thing needs a second party to check it over to make sure I didn't make any mistakes, as well as mentioning who plays which character (I know Jordan does Paulie but it looks off if there's only one name there). If anyone has an official source about potential copying of the sketches from other shows (or, of course, other sketch shows copying sketches from Third Degree that were later reused in Ronnie Johns), it would be welcome. It says in the H5AMD section that the 3rd degree had a fatwa placed against them for promoting tolerence. This doesn't seem to make sense to me. Is it supposed to read intolerence or is the Mufti really against tolerence? Ted BJ 05:14, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
A Fatwa is merely a religious decree, not a condemnation of action 147.10.134.38 15:55, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] These are all stubs!
Hi all. I think we need to expand on the different sketches (i.e., perhaps we should add details of each Chopper Read sketch.). Otherwise, this article is one big collection of stubs! I'll begin working on it myself throughout this week; I wouldn't mind some assistance. David P. A. Hunter 01:32, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- I disagree. While it is important to not neglect any major facts or details (as per the featured article criteria), it's also important to realise that it shouldn't cover every aspect of the show in minute detail, and I think that means that while it's important to explain who each of the recurring characters is, and give an explanation of their skits in general, listing every single piece of minutiae about everything would just make the page far too bloated. If you look at an average article, most of the sub-sections would be stubs if they had their own articles, but as part of the larger article are just the right size. That said, are we close to removing this article's stub notice? Confusing Manifestation 06:03, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
I removed the pov box, there has been no discussion as to why it was added in the first place. The article seems pretty much factual to me.eadsmasha
[edit] Chopper and Swearing
The article talks about a 6 "fuck" per minute rule, but I looked at ACMA's guidelines and the only thing it said was that a show could be rated MA if it had swearing that was necessary to the plot, or something. Is there an official source for this limit? Confusing Manifestation 02:24, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
I feel that this has been pulled out of thin air. The show is rated M not MA. (only 2 episodes out of 18 have been rated MA). Also Censorship occurs in house, Channel 10 decides how it will censor and restrit its shows not ACMA. ACMA merely offers guidlines, and acts upon complaints, it does not decide how the networks act. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.189.80.184 (talk • contribs).

[edit] OR
This article is a continuous, outrageous violation of Wikipedia policy, viz. WP:OR. Wikipedia is a tertiary source, and all its content should be cited to secondary sources. This article is almost entirely composed of interpolations made by editors on the basis of their own observations. I'm sure none of them will like me saying this, but fighting Wikipedia policies will result in a drawn-out process which is unpleasant for everyone, and in which the policy will ultimately win. mgekelly 07:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
