You're kidding me --- how can anyone make a movie about Richthofen in 2006 and give the credit for killing him to Roy Brown? Instant rotten tomato status. Grant65 | Talk 15:47, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who Killed the Red Baron? NPOV violated

I noticed that it says Roy Brown "could not" have killed the Baron in this article, yet in Roy Brown's own article and the Red Baron's main article it says at most that it is "all but certain" that Sergeant Popkin fired the fatal shots and that it is "very unlikely" that Brown did. Furthermore, the article that is cited as a reference to this article's statement indicates innumerable times that the evidence is not clear enough to make a distinct, final decision as to who did the killing, stating that several authors proclaim the Australians did the deed and several authors re-claim that Brown did the deed. The article's concluding statement even says that, "it was therefore most probably Sergeant Popkin who fired the fatal shot"- pushing heavily for that view, certainly, but clearly not presenting an absolute, certain fact about the matter by any means. As such, I think the wording of the statement in this article violates NPOV and should be fixed ASAP. Transego 06:34, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing out the problems with those articles. It is clear that Brown didn't kill Richthofen. It is not know for certain who did, but it wasn't Brown. The references provided make it clear that Brown could not have fired the fatal shot. Grant | Talk 07:51, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
