[edit] Article should be renamed Ryker's Island
I think that this article should be renamed Ryker's Island and expanded. The Raft is really only a part of Ryker's, which is a much older and more widely used concept (not to mention more interesting, imo).
Id do it myself, but I think itd be pointless to rename the article without bringing in some significant background info about Ryker's and I know from experience that digging up info like first appearance etc. on tangential concepts like that barely fictionalised prison is incredibly difficult. Anyone out there know and/or care enough to step in? Hueysheridan 02:38, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- What about Bullseye, the Kingpin, the Owl, Hammerhead, Daredevil, the Punisher...? It mentions how the place features prominently in Daredevil, but doesn't have a single character listed that is incarcerated in that comic. --Newt 18:11, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- Figured out why not: they're not on the Raft, they're on Ryker's Island. --Newt 00:57, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Character reversions
I added a note about the way Raft inmates are portrayed as if the last decade of character development and/or physical transformations had not happened; as I find more cites for this phenomenon, I'll add them. -- Noclevername 14:37, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Status of inmates
I am not sure it is a good idea to even have such lists, as they are bound to be very fluid indeed; but anyway, I am pretty certain that the whole Wrecking Crew (Bulldozer, Piledriver, Thunderball and Wrecker, as well as new member Excavator) was defeated by the Runaways at the start of Vol. 2. Didn't that happen after Spider-Man: Breakout? And aren't they recruited by the Thunderbolts now? Luis Dantas 15:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
