- This band is important enough to have four records rated (positively) in the 1996 Penguin Guide to Jazz on CD; admittedly they were no longer present in the 2002 edition, probably because their records had gone out of print. Ferdinand Pienaar 21:34, 2005 Feb 19

- That argument doesn't wash, for many reasons, too long to go into here (see past WP:VFD discussions). In any case, it's irrelevant. WikiProject Music has a set of specific guidelines for bands, singers, and suchlike.
