[edit] Wide stereo?
On my CD copy, the music is entirely in one channel, and the vocal is in the other. Is this how it was originally released (in which case it probably ought to be mentioned in the article) or was just a stereo mix created later? — sjorford (talk) 16:59, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stereo
The original was on one channel, for the remastered CD version, the song was split in two, with the music on one and the voice on the other.
[edit] Short Story Writing Credit
It says in the main Velvet Underground article that the short story read by John Cale in The Gift was actually written by Cale, and falsely credited to Lou Reed, though other sources, such as the song's article, the White Light/White Heat article, and All Music Guide says that it was written by Reed. Any clarification on this? Corban321 11:43, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Based on credible sources, I've concluded that Reed was, in fact, the author. See the discussion at Talk:The_Velvet_Underground. Malik Shabazz 20:44, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

- Already seen it. Ha, I should have posted this in that talk page in the first place; I wouldn't have had to wait so long for somebody to notice. Thanks for fixing it, though. Corban321 12:40, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
