Talk:The Conversion of Saint Paul (Caravaggio)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The picture here is not of the conversion of St. Paul. The conversion of St. Paul shows a man on the ground who just fell off of a horse.
- There's no consensus on the English names for M's paintings. The one you mean is in the Cerasi Chapel and is treated in this series as "Conversion on the Way to Damascus", and has its own article under that title - but in Italian it's called "Conversione di San Paolo". If you want to re-name the two paintings in these articles, and in the main Caravaggio article, go ahead, but make sure you do a thorough job and make the changes wherever the names occur.
