[edit] Incorrect?

The Bridges of Madison County is the largest selling novel in history with more than 60 million copies sold. I think this is incorrect. The Lord of the Rings has had considerably higher sales. In any case it is unsourced. DES 23:53, 13 July 2005 (UTC)

I believe that, among novels, the record is still held by Gone With the Wind. Many other novels have sold larger numbers of books than Bridges. In any case, no novel has ever sold sixty million copies. The best selling book of all time is, of course, the Bible. 207.237.240.221 03:09, 16 February 2007 (UTC) Allen Roth
