[edit] Unnecessary and irrelevant information?

I think that the follwing sentense which I found on the article of the Black Wallsreet does not really explain the incident. It is rather on the record label called "the Black Wallstreet" owned by the rapper the Game. Moreover, it is just deisgusting. I stronngly suggest it be removed immediately. Why do you think?--InglewoodGRidah 12:07, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

"Yayo pooped, and then Game had to whipe his bumb in the studio. Young Buck was initially shocked at the situation. Yayo's poo was very black and it was smeared on the wall, and on the street which is where Game got the idea of Black Wallstreet!

[edit] The New Reparations

Here in the US, Corporate business models are the main driving force of this economy. But with a Corporate culture of outsourcing jobs, a single legal obligation to create profits for its’ shareholders and the corporatizing of social necessities like heath care and our food source, reveals a flaw in our society. For an economy to thrive, there must be a thriving middle-class. The short-sightedness of corporations to report quarterly profits through cost cutting measures like outsourcing of jobs and poor quality products and services is literally the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot. With a shrinking middle class, who else is going to buy these products and services from these same corporations?

As we outsource jobs to India and China, their economies begin to expand as their middle class begin to grow and purchase more cars and their energy need begin to grow. In this global market consequently greater energy demands drives up fuel cost, which directly affects the consumer and the merchants. Consumers have less money to spend in the mall as their energy cost increase while merchants increase the cost of their products as it cost more to ship by diesel guzzling trucks. It is all relative.

Solution: Not all corporation are evil and some do provide benefits to society. We need to return to local family owned business especially in food cultivation. This keeps local money in the community which stirs economic prosperity. For example, Segregation in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the early 1900s sparked the so called Black Wall Street. Black people were only allowed to shop in black owned businesses therefore spawning a progressive black middle class similar to today’s Black middle class in Atlanta Georgia. On the topic of reparations, we as African Americans should incorporate this business model (Support local businesses that support you) to rebuild Black Wall Street and pay ourselves reparations in the form of good paying jobs and opportunities in owning our own businesses through business loans. Forming a Black Business network is the key as we stand united in healing the scars of slavery. Scars evident today as there are more black males in prison than in college. This Anglo Saxton Corporate business model has climaxed and is sinking. (It’s only a matter of time, Babylon will fall) We as African Americans need to secure and grow our wealth then rubber-stamp this process globally so that all men (Not just a select few) can have economic peace… Realer

[edit] Durham

Black Wall Street is also a designation for a district in Durham's (NC) most financially active African American neighborhood, of much note during the segregation era. It was mostly destroyed by the Durham Freeway in the 1960s. I think this should be reflected on a disambiguation page and maybe a second article.
