Here is why The Beevnicks deserves a page:

  • It is written by a man who has a seperate Wikipedia article for his other comic You Damn Kid, and therefore, since The Beevnicks has replaced YDK as the primary comic, logic would dictate The Beevnicks should also have an article. The website recieves more than enough hits to qualify it for notability, I can simply prove this by stating that the YDK wiki exists.
  • You Damn Kid is not exceptionally well-known. I've posted it a couple times on GameFAQs message boards, nobody had heard of it and those who read it didn't really like it. Is this an issue of seniority? If so, you can delete this article and I'll rewrite it in a year. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by WorldsTallestMidget (talkcontribs) .
    • It's a Keenspot comic, and there's absolutely no doubt YDK itself meets WP:WEB. More often than not secondary comics by authors who have produced notable works are not successfully AfDed. There are exceptions, but it doesn't happen too often. However, because Dunne has taken all the old Beevnicks strips offline, it does make the comic look a lot newer than it is. –Abe Dashiell (t/c) 01:23, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Dunne hasn't taken the Original Beevnicks strips offline, they're just not linked. Maybe this would help. Every single Original Beevnicks strip, archived. And the Beevnicks is no longer a secondary strip, as I've mentioned multiple times already. Dunne has renamed his homepage title from "You Damn Kid" to "Hey kids, it's the Beevnicks!" The issue I see is that this article came too soon. Am I right? -WorldsTallestMidget

[edit] Mentioned by Dunne

Dunne gave a "tip of the cap" today to the person maintaining this page. He said it was "pretty cool". Regarding those comments, I think the same thing.
