I've added a fair amount to this article recently. Most of what I added was post-Beatles line-ups, however there's a lot left to add. I'll try to get back to adding the rest soon. I'm interested in either converting, adding, or making a separate article containing a rock family tree. However, I'm not comfortable with having a good way to diagramattically/code-wise do this. Any thoughts? Thanks. --luckymustard 14:12, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Threetles

Why shouldn't John Lennon be in that line-up? He was still the lead vocalist, guitar, piano and songwriter --Surachit 09:32, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree. I'll put him in later today if no one else says not to by then. --luckymustard 12:29, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Post-Beatles

Since pre-Beatles line-ups are listed, why shouldn't we list post-Beatles line-ups? Really, this is very related to something I'm trying to work out how to do here on Wikipedia, which is rock family trees. I've tried talking about doing this in one of the projects pages but no response. Maybe it was the wrong place, or very inactive project. Can anyone help me find the right place, or an active project? Thanks. --luckymustard 11:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tree

I propose that we substitute this listing of line-ups with a tree that I have created, User:Eric Jack Nash/Sandbox/BeatlesTree. I'll make this change in a day or so if no one objects. Thanks. --luckymustard 15:39, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ringo's post-Beatles bands; Traveling Wilburies

Ringo's All-Starr Band? Ringo and the Roundheads? Shouldn't these be added to Ringo's post-Beatles thing? SOmeone should also add the Traveling Wilburies to George's. Monkeyfinger 05:21, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I forgot about the Wilburies. I'll try to get to those later today, or even later, unless someone else gets to them first. Thanks. --luckymustard 12:14, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
I went ahead and added the Wilburys (both lineups). Anyone who would like to add Jim Keltner/Ray Cooper/etc. is free to. Emperornortonx 17:52, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quarrymen

This is wrong. Pete Shotton was in it, I´m sure. --andreasegde 16:17, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Chaz Newby played with The Beatles in the Casbah after they came back from Hamburg. --andreasegde 12:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article format

Almost two months ago, Andreasegde rewrote the article in tree format. I have just restored the original chart-style format of the article (with a few modifications). The tree format was an interesting concept, but I think a lot of people would find the chart format easier to read. --71.96.186.14 20:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I was the one who changed it over to a tree format. I haven't been too active lately with Wikipedia, so no big deal with me. If I do get active again, then maybe I'll change it back, or maybe we can come up with a way to have both. --luckymustard 23:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
I love the tree concept, but it was getting a bit hard to follow. Perhaps when you return to Wikipedia you could revisit the idea, maybe splitting the tree up or something? There's also redundancy with e.g. the Quarrymen article. --kingboyk 14:34, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plastic Ono Bands
