This synopsis is huge! If nobody wants to trim it down, I'll try myself. Didactylos 09:01, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

What exactly makes this a children/young adult book? Is it simpler in plot than Pratchett's other stuff, or less bawdy, less violent, less clever? It's an interesting approach, combining YA and grownup titles in the same series. Anyone know if it was Pratchett's idea or his publishers'? Boris B 06:59, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- The writing style is slightly different, the books are shorter and it tends to focus on younger characters instead of the adult characters featured in regular Discworld books. That's what I've noticed, anyway. -- Annie D 07:46, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
