Surviving the Cut: The Rookie Nine Together Again! (Japanese: 第二試験突破！勢ぞろいルーキーナイン！ - Daini shiken toppa! seizoroi rūkī nainu!) is episode 37 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Chūnin Exam manga arc.

Team 7's scrolls trigger a Summoning jutsu, and the team is greeted by their Ninja Academy teacher, Iruka Umino. He informs them that they just barely made it in time.
As the second part of the exam comes to a close, all of the Konoha rookie Genins have passed, along with Kabuto's group, Gaara's group, the Sound ninja group, and Rock Lee's group. The Third Hokage explains to everyone what the third exam truly holds. They aren't just testing; they're actually fighting a mini-war!

- Around about ten minutes forty seconds after the opening theme, the Genin that survived the second exam are shown in rows from behind. Here, Sakura's hair is visibly long, even though she cut it off five episodes previously.
