Stargate: The Ark of Truth is a planned direct-to-DVD movie, which will be written and directed by Robert C. Cooper. The movie will go into production in April 2007,[1] and will likely be released late in 2007.[2]
This movie will be the conclusion of Stargate SG-1's Ori arc,[2] which began in "Avalon". The Ori storyline was originally expected to continue into SG-1's eleventh season, but the series was cancelled by the Sci-Fi Channel in August 2006. Therefore, the movie will pick up immediately after "Unending", the SG-1 series finale.

There is no official word whether Morena Baccarin will reprise her role of Adria. Richard Dean Anderson will not return as Gen. Jack O'Neill, but he will appear in the next SG-1 movie, Stargate: Continuum.[5]

Not much is known about this special. Robert C. Cooper said in an official interview:
- "We're probably going to produce a little one-hour special that will be included on the DVDs that will help catch you up if you haven't been following the series lately. [...] We're doing a one-hour special called Stargate Mythology, which will I think not just be a clip show that helps you get up to speed on where we're at, but also kind of explore the concept of mythology as it relates to the Stargate universe."[6]
