Star Wars: The Best of PC is a compilation of five different Star Wars games that have already been released for Windows. The compilation is limited edition, and is only available for a few months. The games included in the compilation are: Star Wars: Empire at War, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Battlefront, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars: Republic Commando. A 14 day trial of the MMORPG Star Wars: Galaxies is also included in the title. It was released in America on November 21, 2006,^[1] and in Europe 3 days later.

Upon its release in Australia, gamers were disappointed to find that the CD access codes given by the instruction booklet were useless. As a result, the product was recalled by LucasArts.^{[citation needed]}
