Second Chance is a book written by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim LaHaye. It is number two of the Left Behind: The Kids series.

This is a book about when Jesus has already come back to rapture the true believers of the church. Four kids: Judd, Vicki, Lionel and Ryan have met at New Hope Village Church after losing their families to the dissapearances. There they meet an assistant pastor who had been left behind because he was not a real Christian. He knew exactly what happened, and explained it to the kids, who were not quite ready to believe the truth about what really happened. Judd goes to rescue his car from the airport, and Vicki goes along.

Lionel and Ryan go to Ryan's house who will not set foot in it. Lionel decides he will return to his house, and Ryan gladly goes with him. When they reach the house Lionel receives a message on the answering machine, from his only living relative Uncle André who sounds like he is going to kill himself.

Lionel and Ryan rush to Chicago while Judd and Vicki try to get their car out of an unstable parking garage.
