A vedalken Viromancer/Doctor, who unleashed a virus that killed nearly a thousand people (over 600 of them civilians) in a field test of an engineered virus known as the Zlovol Contagion. (Ravnica)

An Izzet magelord that sought to dominate Ravnica and betray Niv-Mizzet by controlling three newborn dragons from their ancient eggs. Although one of the dragons was crushed, he controlled the blue dragon by reading inscriptions inscribed on his courier's arm. Teysa did the same thing and took control of the albino dragon. Each dragon battled one another until they both killed each other. Zomaj fell from his dragon and died. (Ravnica)

A wizard that lived during the Ice Age. Enemy of Gushta Ebbasdotter, the Kjeldoran Royal Mage, and rival of Gerda Äagesdotter, archmage of the Unseen. Seeks eternal life. He was exiled from Kjeld for his insane attempts to achieve eternal life. He was later to assemble a formidable array of mages and soldiers and attack his former homeland. (Card Zur the Enchanter)
