A Suq’Ata male. Jamuura’s greatest storyteller, riding a tame blue Drake. Bit of a braggart. He has a huge collection of magical trinkets and is never without some kind of magical enchantment placed upon himself. Hakim met with Asmira the Prophet, Rashida Scalebane and Sidar Jabari near the Zhalfirin capital Kipamu. Driven by dreams, none of them knew why they were there - except for Asmira. She explained that destiny was driving them to rescue Mangara, who was held in enchanted amber in a palace deep in the Mwonvuli Jungle. Rashida formed an elite guard for the rescue mission with Asmira as the guard’s guide, while Jabari and Hakim set about creating a sufficient distraction. Hakim kept the citizens’ spirits up by telling tales of ancient wonders; finally he began a new tale, of how the inhabitants of a city escaped a siege - a tale not even he had heard before, a tale rooted in a dream sent by Teferi. The tale wove a spell that caused the creatures besieging the city to vanish completely at dusk, they phased out. Hakim and Jabari told the gathered people to flee. (Mirage)

An Argivian archeologist and artificer. The Weatherlight’s archivist and navigator. The daughter of the ancient wizard Barrin, Hanna was educated at the Argivian University where she learned much about the uses of artifacts. She brought her talents to the Weatherlight and began to develop a romantic relationship with Gerrard. That relationship ended abruptly when Gerrard left the ship, and although she felt betrayed his return rekindled her interest in him. Hanna reluctantly suggested her father as capable to planeshift the Weatherlight to Rath. She and her father are estranged, but she doesn’t reveal the reason of the enstrangement. After arriving in Rath and the attack of the Predator, the crippled Weatherlight lands in Skyshroud to begin repairs. Hanna and Mirri head off in search for Gerrard, who has fallen overboard. Soon Hanna and Mirri are noted and pursued by the Skyshroud Elves on their warhounds. Then Mirri is attacked by a shapeshifter, but Hanna kills it. After that they are taken prisoner by the elves. Appearing before the elvish leader Eladamri, Lord of Leaves, they find that Gerrard and the Vec also have made their appearance. Gerrard explains his mission and convinces Eladamri to free Hanna and Mirri. […]. Hanna died during the Invasion from Phyrexian plague.

Born of Kayla, Warlady of Kroog, his paternity remains a mystery, as Kayla had an affair with her husband Urza's brother, the charming Mishra. Urza would eventually accept Harbin as his son, though their relationship was a distant one. Both his parents would continuously shield him from the worst aspects of the war, even when he bacame an ornithopter pilot. It was Harbin who discovered the pristine continent of Argoth, and eventually the Brothers' War would be a battle over Argoth's rich resources. At the end of the war, the sylex blast slew Harbin as he sailed home. He was survived by his mother, wife, and his grandson Jarsyl.

An ogre shaman living in the Sokenzan Mountains at his home of Shinka Keep. He was a worshipper of the All-Consuming Oni of Chaos along with at least other dozen Oni, and so became the mightiest of all the ogres. Wise and vengeful, he formed the Hyozan Reckoners with Toshiro Umezawa. Later he lead an oni army which destroyed the School of Minamo in revenge for the death of his most loved student. Then he tried to destroy Oboro, but it was stopped by Toshi Umezawa. When betrayed by his master, the Oni of Chaos, Hidetsugu takes the place of his own master becoming a Myojin himself. (Kamigawa)

A legendary ninja of Kamigawa, his skills gained him the name of Still Wind meaning that his enemies will never know what killed them. Later he founded his own secret ninjutsu school. (Kamigawa)

Enchantress from the time of the Brothers’ War, sage and regent of Lat-Nam. Former student and wife of Drafna. The Archmandrite of the Ivory Tower invited Hurkyl to join the Council of Mages. In a world of artifice and engineering, Hurkyl was among the first to realize the power of the "memories of the land", a force called magic. In the battle of the ivory towers, she would use the same force to banish two of Mishra's great dragon engines, but she fell before his human armies.

A Suq’Ata nobleman, older brother of Telim’Tor. Throughout his early military career Telim’Tor worked under his brother, which he resented. Telim earned his fame as a military leader when he brought back some important maps lost in the Ekundu mountains. Although his troops were decimated in the efforts, Telim blamed the fatally injured Husam for that. (Mirage)
