As Krypton nears destruction, scientist Jor-El tries to discover a way to save the doomed planet. The computer Brainiac stands in his way, but before the planet is destroyed, Jor-El and Lara send their only son on a vessel to Earth, Kal-El. Baby Kal-El's ship lands in Kansas, and he is raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent. During his teenage years, the newly named Clark Kent realizes he is different. He leaves Smallville and becomes a reporter in Metropolis. He also runs into problems with Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, including stopping Luthor's shady arms deal. | |||||
