Lambhouse: The Collection 1991-1998 is a CD/DVD set commemorating the storied career and eventual return to action of New York noise rock pioneers UnsaneOver the course of 24 devastating tracks drawn from each of the band's landmark albums, one is sucked right into Unsane's despairing world of pain, a world where tortured convulsions like "Sick," "Body Bomb," "Alleged," and "Vandal X" throb like the scars attained during years of punishing tours (still bleeding, in fact, after thousands of mosh pits, physical and mental breakdowns, a fatal drug overdose, and a near-fatal beating). The DVD portion of this set is perhaps even more impressive, as it offers another 23 clips culled from Unsane's decade-plus run. These include four promotional music videos that, except for the skateboard wipeout classic "Scrape," MTV made sure to ignore, as well as extensive and thrilling performance footage captured everywhere from New York's CBGB's to Cincinnati's Sudsy Malone's.
