[edit] a little misleading

I beleive this map cna be a little misleading, as it imposes today's borders on the past. while I commend your hard work, is there any way that the contemporary borders can be placed on the map, say pre-1806 the borders of the Holy Roman Empire, and 1806-1871 the borders of the major German states. etc. etc. Also, in the description it must be mentioned that this is only Europe being referred to, as many people in the Americas, particularly mennonites and some Argentine groups speak German.

You are right there. I haven't this considered, today's national frontiers confuse which!
I will correct the maps on occasion. Thank you for your note! Postl Michi 21:07, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
