Free Agents: The Murda Mix Tape was composed while The Infamous Duo were "Free Agents", or inbetween record labels. Due to the musical freedom the Queensbridge pair realized by an independent production, Free Agents: The Murder Mixtape is undoubtedly one of the realest and hardest albums of all time. This is the groups first deal on an independent label. Its beat and flows are unmatched by modern rap which lacks its impressive poetry and darkness. Mobb Deep, along with the Free Agents Album, is "The Illest".
