Jesus has already come back to rapture the true believers of the church. In this book John Preston gives up his place on a submarine that will save his life from a devastating tidal wave, that will inevitably sink the ship he is on.

Two comets streak down to the Earth killing thousands. It is all predicted in the Bible, but still millions are under the influence of Nicolae Carpathia.

Vicki has a dream from God about an old school-house that will save them from the Global Community. After Judd, Vicki and Lionel get new IDs, they go on a search for Ryan's old dog Phoenix, as Vicki had promised before Ryan died.
