Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
High School Musical: The Ice Tour is an ice show based on the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical and the new sequel, High School Musical 2. It will be produced by Feld Entertainment, the producers of Disney on Ice.
None of the actors from the movie will reprise their roles, and the show will feature plot from the first and second telefilms, and their music. Instead, three companies of professional skaters will tour 100 cities in the US, Canada, Mexico, and unnamed countries in Europe.
Tickets for production went on sale through Ticketmaster on March 18, 2007.
The show is co-produced by Kenny Ortega, a director and co-choreographer of the movies.
Because the plot of the skating show includes the plot of the sequel, the tour will wait until after the premiere of High School Musical 2.
