Degrassi: The Next Generation (Season 6)

The sixth season of Degrassi: The Next Generation originally began airing in September 2006, and will produce a total of 19 episodes, but has not aired all of those episodes as of February 2007. The season will be released on DVD at an undetermined date after all episodes have been televised.
It was during this season that the second production block of Degrassi Minis was filmed.

As Jesse begs her to see the truth, Craig spirals out of control. Can Ellie figure out the truth – in time to save herself?
Derek, Danny, and Toby are threatened by the Lakehurst goons, and learn they’re really out for JT. JT goes to the opposing school and confront the bullies, especially after he learns Mia’s stuck in the middle of the conflict. JT wants to be a man – but has to decide what’s really the right thing to do. |

Manny's intent on getting over Craig, and uses Liberty's upcoming birthday as an excuse to throw a party at Emma's house while Spike and Snake are out of town. She's even got a great guy to introduce Liberty to - but doesn't anticipate how he'll feel. And of course, no party can be kept a secret for long, as soon the party gets out of control - even students from Lakehurst drop in unexpectedly. In the aftermath of J.T.'s death, all of Degrassi is in sorrow. Liberty, Mia, and Toby all deal with the loss of their dearest friend while Toby is left to consider whether he should tell both girls J.T.'s last feelings of affection for Liberty. Meanwhile, Ellie contemplates telling Jesse about her kiss with Craig or hide it from their relationship. | |||||

Manny moves out of Emma's house, and Manny has found interest with Damien, the student school council president of Lakehurst. Manny and Emma's friendship is tested when Emma joins in with Mia and other Degrassi students still angry over JT's death to protest Lakehurst's participation in the Spirit Squad Regionals being held at Degrassi. Later, Emma's actions trigger a near riot inside Degrassi between the rival student factions for which she receives a month's detention. Emma patches things up with Manny but admits to Manny that she's still not over JT's violent death. Dylan is acting mute, which makes Marco think he's cheating again. | |||||
