Degrassi: The Next Generation (Season 5)

The fifth season of Degrassi: The Next Generation originally aired between September 2005 and March 2006, producing a total of 19 episodes. The season has not yet been released on DVD.
Highlight of this season include the return of Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes as themselves (in "The Lexicon of Love, Part 1" and "The Lexicon of Love, Part 2") and the graduation of many of the main characters from Degrassi Community School. The season finale, "High Fidelity, Part 2", was also the 100th episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation.
It was during this season that the first production block of Degrassi Minis was filmed.
