Armenia: The Secrets of a Christian Terrorist State is a controversial, anti-Armenian book written by Samuel Weems (June 2002, ISBN 0971921237). It was supposed to be the first of a volume of five, from a collection titled: The Armenian Great Deception series. It contains controversial[1] claims about Armenia and the Armenian people. The work claims that the Armenian government, in partnership with the Armenian Church (which he claims to be the only church and being state owned), is partners in terrorism of a massive degree. It connects several events allegedly having happened with each others. It first purports to document an alleged Armenian terrorist acts in Georgia and Azerbaijan in 1918 and 1919. It also covers ASALA attacks in the 1970s and 1980s.

A significant portion of the book covers the 1915 massacres of the Armenians, which it denies. He calls it a “giant fraud.” He claims that Armenians have fabricated genocide and established a “genocide industry” to deceive and “fleece” other Christian nations of the world out of billions of dollars. He proceeds further to claim that Armenians killed Muslims and then sent reports that Armenians were being killed.

The author accuses Armenians to have infiltrated the United States: "In 1918 Armenia established what it called "colonies" in the United States by sending its people to help build a political base to get free money and support from America. Those colonies have grown and have been very successful in helping get 'free stuff."

The book states that the Armenians were not the ethnic majority in Armenia until the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, and who have stolen Muslim lands to forge a country. The Armenian Assembly of America has condemned it as "outrageous and racist anti-Armenian propaganda."[1]

The book was translated into Turkish language and printed in Turkey ("Ermenistan: Terörist 'Hıristiyan' Ülkenin Sırları", March 2006, ISBN 975-6288-82-5) [2].

Samuel A. Weems (December 12, 1936January 25, 2003[3]) was a disbarred Arkansas lawyer[4]. He unsuccessfully ran for the position of mayor of Hazen county in 1994 and 1998[5]. He died from a heart attack and is survived by his Turkish wife, Gulnur, and son.[6] He made various controversial remarks such as: "the religion of the Armenians is fake",[7] ”… the Armenians have never been known as truth tellers."[citation needed] And ordering the Armenian Diaspora to leave to Armenia: “"Isn't it past time for all you to just go to Armenia and stay there? Just go home!" [8] In March 2002 Weems visited Turkey on the occasion of the 81th anniversary of the assassination of Talat Paşa and spoke on the Armenian issue and about the smear campaign against Turkey in Europe and the United States, in numerous interviews with Turkish news agencies as well as in the universities of Istanbul and Ankara. He was also making arrangements about printing the book in Turkish language. [6]
