7 Hours: The Demos of 2006 is a compilation album by Canadian solo artist Vixen Windstorm. It was self-released on January 1, 2007 through Windstorm's own Faceless Records. All of the tracks featured on the album were compiled at around 5:00 (GMT), with roughly 7 hours left of the year 2006, hence the 7 Hours part of the title.
Much of the tracks on the album are low in that of quality or skill considering Windstorm was primely a lyricist rather than a music composer, and the album features every track he had recorded (seeing as there were no recordings prior to June 2006).

[edit] Criticisms
Given the circumstances under which 7 Hours: The Demos of 2006 was recorded, it gained various criticisms for reasons such as:
- Only two songs on the album feature distortion.
- The album features outtakes of recordings where noticeable mistakes were made.
- The album features the first ever guitar compositions by Vixen Windstorm, which is the reason for lack of skill on select tracks.
- The quality of select tracks is very low (though the majority of the tracks are of clear and high quality).
[edit] Trivia
- All of the tracks featured on the album were compiled on December 31, 2006 at around 5:00 (GMT), with roughly 7 hours left of the year 2006, hence the 7 Hours part of the title.
- The vocal on "Hell" is a recording of Art Bell's radio program Coast to Coast AM. The recording features Art Bell reading a letter submitted by the daughter of Dr. Azzacove, a purported scientist who along with a team drilling for oil composites, discovered an entrance to Hell in the earth in the Kola Peninsula. The exact date of the radio program is unknown. Attached to the the letter was an audio recording allegedly recorded by the drilling crew upon their "discovery" of what appears to be the violent, tormented sounds of people, or "the souls of the damned" as far as believers speculate. Skeptics believe the sound was generated by the drilling, or some other equipment aboard.
