The song "That Day" was the first single with mainstream success by Malaysian Punk Rock band, One Buck Short. The song features the typical instruments used by a SoCal rock band such as Drums, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar and plenty of Vocals.

[edit] Lyrics

The song is probably about the lead singer (perhaps Mooky) disappointed that his partner is never there for him when he is feeling lonely, upset or has something to celebrate, 'the most important day of my life' may be about this constantly happening or one single day of great significance his partner was not there for. In the last verse, they split up and the lead singer says 'hope the new guy will do the same to you'. At the very end the song breaks into a kind of Reggae (also sung in Malay) style and the lead singer says 'don't come here and cry' which may imply his partner wants to come back but the lead singer is too angry or upset to allow it, including the lead singer saying 'You're word's just a lie / why don't you break down and cry?'.
