That's What She Said
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"That's What She Said" is a common phrase/joke. It is usually said by men after a friend or colleague says something that could be interpreted as something a woman would say before, during, or after sexual relations. Usually, the first person does not intend his or her comment to be sexual. This phrase is mostly used by young teens, and is becoming quite common.

[edit] In Popular Culture
It was first heard by audiences in the movie Wayne's World. During an episode of their public access TV show, Garth (Dana Carvey) holds up a large photo of the supermodel Claudia Schiffer. Garth complains to Wayne (Mike Myers), "Hey, are you done yet? I'm getting tired of holding it." "Yeah, that's what she said!" Wayne replies and they both laugh.[1]
The joke has been recently popularized by the television series The Office. In the show, Michael, played by Steve Carrell, uses the phrase frequently, to the point of being accused of sexual harassment by one of his colleagues.
It was also used in a recent episode of Rules of Engagement where Russel gets a new girlfriend who is the 'she' of that's what she said, saying sexual things in an accidental way.
