Thai Royal Family

Thanpuying Dhasanawalaya Sornsongkram(born 11 November 1945, Switzerland), is the only daughter of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana and Colonel Aram Rattakun Serireongrit. At the age of 6, she came back Thailand with her uncle, King Bhumibol, and her auntie, Queen Sirikit by ship.

After arriving in Thailand, She continued her education at Materdei School, Triamudom School and Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. After graduated, she continued her study in Switzerland.

During her study in Switzerland, she met Sinthu Sornsongkram, who is a public servant at the Royal Thai Embassy in Bern. They married on 12 November 1973. They both have a son together, First Lieutenant Jitat Sornsongkram.

Thanpuying Dhasanawalaya Sornsongkramhas been a lecturer in the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University.

[edit] Later Life

She received her rank as Thanpuying on 5 May 1986. She is considered to be the closest grandchild of Somdej Phra Sri Nakarindhara Boromaratchachonnani.
