The Thanet Offshore Wind Project is a proposed wind farm to be built 7 miles (11 km) off the North Kent coast in the United Kingdom. It will cover 13.5 square miles (35 km2), and have a capacity of 300 MW. [1]

Planning permission for the project was granted on 18 December 2006. [2]
