Thaddaeus

Thaddaeus or Thaddeus (Greek Θαδδαῖος) is a boy's given name. It may derive from Theodorus (Greek for "gift of god") or from the Aramaic word for "heart" [1].

The name has numerous other forms, including Tad, Tadzio, Thad. In Armenian, the name is Թադէոս [tʰɑdɛos] Tadeos, or (short form) Թադէ [tʰɑdɛ] Tadeh.
