Thad Luckinbill (born April 24, 1975 in Enid, Oklahoma) is an American actor, currently on the cast of the soap opera The Young and the Restless as J.T. Hellstrom since November 1999.

Luckinbill attended the University of Oklahoma as a business finance major where he joined Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He was fraternity brothers with singer/songwriter Creede Williams.

His mother is a singer and taught him to love music. During his childhood, Luckinbill learned to play guitar. He has a twin brother, Trent, who lives and works in Washington, DC.

Luckinbill guest-starred on several primetime television shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Providence, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Nash Bridges, and 8 Simple Rules, and recently on Nip/Tuck, where he appeared nude.

He also had a recurring role in the show '8 Simple Rules' as Donny Doyle, the son of the annoying neighbour.

Luckinbill also starred in the MTV documentary, True Life and appeared in Madonna's "Don't Tell Me" video as the cowboy who was thrown from his horse at the end of the song.

He has appeared in the feature films Just Married and Sleepover.

Luckinbill enjoys playing basketball, surfing, boxing and going to the gym.

As of February 2007, he is engaged to Y&R co-star Amelia Heinle whom he married in March 2007.
