My first edit to Wikipedia was made 2006.09.19, on the topic of recorder of deeds. My background is as a generalist, and as an amateur genealogist. I am a technical writer by trade, good cook, and editor. Recently, I have been collaborating (primarily as editor and researcher) on a broad revision of Charles Derry's Dark Dreams, which updates his discussion from 1977.

I imagine my contributions to the Wikicommunity will be rare, and, I hope, as accurate as humanly possible.

I'm always open to reasoned discussion, and often not defensive in receiving criticism. ...Just try me. (this is my dry humor showing here.)
