Wikipedia:Texan Collaboration of the Month

The current Texan Collaboration of the Month is Strand National Historic Landmark District.
Every month, a different Texas-related topic, stub or non-existent article is picked.
Please read the nomination text and improve the article any way you can.
This Wikipedia page is currently inactive and is retained primarily for historical interest. Per Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines: "A historical page is any proposal for which consensus is unclear, where discussion has died out for whatever reason."
If you want to revive discussion regarding the subject, you should seek broader input via a forum such as the village pump.
If you're here, and haven't put your name to the List of Texan Wikipedians yet, get over there!

Every month, a Texan Collaboration of the Month will be picked using this page. This is a specific topic which either has no article or a basic stub page that is directly related to Texas, the aim being to have a featured-standard article by the end of the period, from widespread cooperative editing. It is our hope that, unlike our sister COTM Southern U.S. and numerous other COTM's and WikiProjects, we won't go through long lapses of activity — a hope backed by our world-renowned Texas Pride.

This page is traditionally administered by Katefan0 and JCarriker, but since they are both semi-retired, Johntex is filling in. (Yet another reason to hope Katefan0 and JCarriker come back soon!!) Please direct questions to either this page's talk or to Johntex' Talk Page. Thanks.

[edit] Selecting the next Collaboration of the Month

A new COTM is selected on the first of every month, after roughly ten days of nominations and voting; new nominations and voting begin on the 20th of each month, while the current COTM's editing is winding down.

There's no confusing process to it. Just list Texan articles you're interested in expanding below, and we'll find consensus for the next month's collaboration while working on the current one. Standard approval voting should work, for now.
