Textual efficiency
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Textual efficiency refers to the measure of time or resource used for a task (in this case, the text of a language). Some languages have more efficient text than others, although, comparing long texts of two languages is more reliable than a short text, in determining the textual efficiency.
Example:
English: Hi
Spanish: Hola
This shows English to have the more efficient text, as well as one less syllable, in this particular instance.
