State Highway 74 is a proposed state highway that will run across the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport from SH 360 to SH 161. This route was designated in 1995.

[edit] Previous Routes

SH 74 was originally proposed by 1933 to run from near Brady through Lampasas and Florence to Liberty Hill. By 1938, it was rerouted southeast from Florence to Georgetown, replacing SH 195. In 1939, it had been shortened considerably, running again from Lampasas to Liberty Hill, with the western section reassigned to U.S. Route 190. It was cancelled in 1951 with the significant rerouting of U.S. Route 183.
