State Highway 50 is a state highway in northeast Texas from Interstate 30 northward to Ladonia. It also extended northward from Ladonia to Honey Grove, concurrently with SH 34 in 1971, replacing a section of SH11. The section north of Ladonia was removed from SH 50 in 2003.
[edit] Previous routes
SH 50 was originally proposed by 1933 renumbering a portion of SH 2 between Henrietta and Bowie, when the route of SH 2 was readjusted farther east. This designation was short-lived, as it was replaced by 1939 by U.S. Route 380.
